A study to find out about the experiences of people after surgery for bowel cancer - CREW
Please note this trial is no longer recruiting patients.
This study is to find out about problems and experiences people have when recovering from surgery for bowel cancer.
Doctors often treat bowel cancer with surgery. But we could know more about the experiences and problems people have when recovering from bowel surgery and how long recovery takes.
The researchers want to find out more about how people feel and how they cope after surgery. They hope this will help to identify people who may have problems and show how best to help them.
The aim of this study is to find out
- What problems people have after surgery for bowel cancer
- How they cope with them
- How long it takes them to fully recover
